Real-time Information and Control of Trucking Operations

"MissionTrak(tm) is a logistics management system used to optimizes truck routes, maximizes the payloads and increase operational efficiencies of trucking companies."

HERON USA has developed its proprietary software system, MissionTrak™, primarily for use with its Host Nation Trucking operations in Afghanistan. The system is a secure (https://), web-based system which is accessible to all necessary staff worldwide. Its architecture is optimized for the lowbandwidth limitations of Afghanistan AOR, as it is used by staff at remote sites with limited connectivity. It is privileged-based for access only on a "need-to-see" basis. The MS SQL 2008 database is hosted on Microsoft's high-end "Azure" platform, co-located in the continental U.S.

MissionTrak interfaces with Tapestry Solutions' GDMS satellite system, which brings in Latitude/Longitude location data from all trucks' transponders. Using this unique transponder data, MissionTrak will show users truck locations and route histories. It will also check the "Geo- Fence" around each node (FOB/Base), and will alert MG's 24/7 Operations Center when the truck has reached the perimeter of the origin or destination locations.

Further, MissionTrak will send both automated and ad hoc SMS text alerts to drivers and coordinators as needed.

Manual maintenance of Excel spreadsheets is unnecessary, as MissionTrak will export even the most complex spreadsheet requirements for In Transit Visibility reporting (including color-coding of fonts and background colors). MissionTrak's "Data QC Report" tests all of the active missions for data correctness, dates and statuses, assuring the accuracy of XLSX exports and all other ITV reporting.

• Integrates with Tapestry GDMS data. Any user anywhere can see which missions are not pinging.
• ITV pings and Ping History Scorecard visible to all users.
• Comments added every time something happens regarding a mission—so all other users can see what is happening.
• Upload all mission documents (i.e. mission checklists, FOB memos, receipts, placards, etc)
• Audit trail of all data changes, along with who changed it and when. Anything is changed, it shows who and when.

• Imports the Daily HNT Mission Tracker XLS

• Tracks Missions by Reps and Drivers. Find out which Reps have the most problems.
• Vet all drivers and reps, ..online storage for scanned Drivers License and Tazkira – with the JV's security watermark overlay. (SOW requirement)
• Automatic setting of dates when changing Mission Status (ArrivedAtOrigin, Uploaded, ArrivedAtDestination, Downloaded)
